Everyone has some hobbies, and everyone love to do something, like reading books, playing cricket, golf or go for walk in the morning.
“We feel good after doing, what we love to do.”
I do believe these things, which we love to do, help us to be more productive and also help us to keep motivated all the time.
I love to walk. Whenever I get chance, I go to my near community park (it’s not Good Park, but still) and I do walk for 2-3 hours, and while walking, I love to listen to my favourite music on my phone. After walk I feel energized and more motivated. After done walking my mind get full with Ideas and the visual task list which I have to do in coming days.
Today, I am creating a list of thing, which I love to do.
1. Listen to music.
a. I do listen to all kind of music, but Punjabi music is my favourite one.
2. Walking.
a. I love it. I can walk for hours.
3. Coding and write programs.
a. I love to write script in PowerShell, these day, I love programming in C# and .NET too.
4. Reading books.
a. I don’t read fiction books much. I love to read self-help books.
5. Meeting with new peoples / Making friends.
a. I am not getting much opportunities to meet new peoples every day, but, whenever I get chance, I love to meet with them.
6. Being Inspired and read about “How to be a good human” ( I love to watch inspiring videos)
a. I love “Connecting the Dot” speech by “Late Steve Jobs” and lots of others inspiration videos. If you want to know about more these kind of videos which I do love, please write me, and I can send you my favourite inspiration video list.
7. Write Poems
a. In Hindi and in Punjabi, but, not frequently.
8. Love to speak at user event as a Speaker.
a. I love to speak in the event, although, I don’t get much chance to speak in the lots of event. In a year, I only get chance to speak in 3-4 PowerShell user group events only. Sometimes I do visualise about giving Speech in the front of 2000 peoples. Speak in colleagues and in schools, and teaching them about Self-improvements and about technologies and how they can become a better person and programmer.
Do you ever notice, when you are stressed, you feel light after do the things which you love to do, and may be after that you get the solutions of your problems. I don’t know what the reason behind this is ( May be something related to “sub-conscious mind?), but this is always works.
I am preparing the base ground first before starting my “100 Days of Self Improvement”. When I finished listed all the things, those are in my mind, after that, we will create a plan and list of action which will help me to cure my weakness and conquer my fears.
Hurdle 1:
“Today, I hasn’t done anything productive, I woke up late and whole day spent in laziness by doing nothing.”
Decision 1:
Today, I have decided to wake up early. Normally, I wake up at, 8:00AM, but, from tomorrow, I am planning to wake up at 6:00AM. So that, I can manage to do the rest of my task, so that I can keep writing daily blog post without any hassle.
Just you share with you, Waking up early, is a next thing after impossible for me, I can wake up 2 days without sleep, I can work whole night, But waking up early, very difficult task for me. Let’s see, if I manage to wake up early for a one week.
One Week Goal 1:
Wake up at 6:00AM from 2nd of June till 8th of June.
Method to Achieve the Goal:
1. Sleep on time.
2. Keep telling myself that 5 hours of sleep is sufficient.
3. Before sleeping, keep telling myself, that “I can wake up early”.
That’s all for now. Wish be best of luck and I will try my best to achieve these goals.
I hope, these small-small goals, will help me to achieve my big goals.
