The Eighth Step: Set up your Goals and work hard to achieve them.

Now, I have a list of my “Dreams”, “Weaknesses”, and my “Strengths”.  The next step for me is to set my “Goals” for this “100 days of journey”.

If you pick any book on self-help or self-improvement, each and everyone is talking about setting goals.

There are two main category of Goals.

1.     Personal Goals

2.     Professional Goals.

And these two categories are further divided in to two categories.

A.    Short term Goals

B.     Long term Goal

I never created any GOAL in my life, and that is one of the biggest mistakes on mine. I never thought about, what I would like to be, what I want to achieve.

Most of the time, I go with the flow of life, which is good and bad too.

If you know, where your life it taking you along and if you know that you are going towards right directions, then, it is fine and good, But, if you don’t know where life is taking you, and if you don’t know about your destination, then, believe me  you are  a very bad situation.

The best thing about GOALS are, you can monitor your goals, you can measure your goals and you know what exactly you want to achieve and how to achieve.

It’s never too late, if we start anything NOW!

It’s time to sets a GOALs for me.

I am setting long term goals as well as the short term goals too also along with Weekly goals.

Short Term Goals.

Weekly Goals

1.     Wake up early for one week. {Nearly achieved, as today is my 5th day}.

2.     Read one Self-help Book, daily for at-least 20 Minutes.

3.     Make a plan for my “100 Days of Self Improvement” journey.

Long Term Goals

            100 Days Goals

1.      Blog every day for 100 Days.

2.     Improve my English

a.     Verbal Skills

b.     Written Skills

3.     Learn about “Universal Laws of Mother Nature”

4.     Create a positive mental attitude.

5.     Learning Meditation

6.     Dealing with Worries and eagerness.

7.     How to control thought and let only positive thoughts enter in your mind.

8.     Collecting Life Lessons from other peoples.

 

 

All, things are on their place now. Now I need to create a map, plan of my journey.

As you all know, the true purpose of this journey is to know and share about:

1.     How to deal with fears.

2.     How to cure weaknesses.

3.     Learn about Time management.

4.     How to train my mind to concentrate.

5.     How to live a cheerful and worry free life.

6.     Making a lot’s of friends and find other travellers in this journey of mine.

7.     How to live a true LIFE.

8.     Set a sample of, “IF I CAN, YOU CAN DO IT TOO”.

 

I am almost two days away from starting my journey. I need your support, guidance and well wishes.

 

Hurdle 1:

I was facing a difficult time in concentrating on any single task, my heart and mind seems wander like it has nothing to do anything. I should learn about, how to concentrate on a single task, ever if your heart, mind doesn’t allowing it.

Hurdle 2:

Today, in the morning, I have tried to read my MBA programme course books. Although, I have managed to read one chapter of the BOOK, but I just read it , not able to grasp, memorise the information.

I should find a better way for studying and learning.

Weekly Goal Status:

Its 5th day of my Goal, and Yes, only two more days left to go. Today I wake up on time, yes I wake up at 5:45 in the morning and read the book for 1.5 hours.

 

Problems those I found today and need to be fixed:

1.     How to concentrate.

2.     Better way of study and learn.
